Direct answer

As of 25 August 2026, Roobet’s help centre lists 25 jurisdictions whose residents may not access the site or register, including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Netherlands, Cyprus and Malta. The list can change; Roobet’s Terms of Service are the authoritative source. If you live in a restricted region, no referral or affiliate code can make an account valid.

Roobet’s official restricted regions list

Roobet’s help centre article Roobet Restricted Regions, dated 25 August 2026, states that residents of the following jurisdictions and territories may not access the website or register an account:

  • Aruba
  • Australia
  • Bonaire
  • Cuba
  • Curaçao
  • Cyprus
  • Gibraltar
  • Haiti
  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • Malta
  • Myanmar
  • Netherlands
  • Nicaragua
  • North Korea
  • Saba
  • Sint Maarten
  • Saint Martin
  • South Sudan
  • Statia (Sint Eustatius)
  • Syria
  • United States
  • United Kingdom
  • Yemen
  • Zimbabwe

Several third-party review sites publish longer lists that add countries such as Germany, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Portugal, Hungary, Lithuania, Slovakia, Israel and the Canadian province of Ontario. Those additions may reflect older versions of Roobet’s terms, game-provider restrictions, or local law rather than Roobet’s current list. We have reproduced only what Roobet itself publishes, and we recommend checking the Terms of Service for the live version before registering.

Why Roobet restricts these regions

Roobet is operated under a Curaçao licence (at the time of writing, Raw Entertainment B.V. holding Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/687/0427). A Curaçao licence does not grant the right to offer gambling in countries that run their own licensing regimes or that prohibit online gambling. The restricted list broadly reflects three categories:

CategoryExamples from the listReason
Locally regulated marketsUnited Kingdom, Netherlands, Australia, United StatesThese countries require a domestic licence Roobet does not hold, or prohibit offshore online casinos
Licence-related exclusionsCuraçao, Bonaire, Saba, Statia, Sint Maarten, Aruba, Cyprus, MaltaThe licensing jurisdiction itself and related territories, plus EU jurisdictions with specific regulatory positions
Sanctioned or high-risk jurisdictionsIran, Iraq, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Myanmar, Yemen, South Sudan, Zimbabwe, Haiti, NicaraguaInternational sanctions and anti-money-laundering risk

Being absent from the list does not by itself make online gambling legal where you live. Many countries permit residents to play on offshore sites without licensing them; others prohibit it but do not appear on operator lists. The responsibility to comply with local law rests with the player.

Game-level restrictions

Even in permitted countries, some games may be unavailable. Game studios such as Evolution, Pragmatic Play and NetEnt hold their own licences and block titles in specific markets. Roobet’s help centre maintains an article on regional restrictions by game provider. If a slot or live table shows as unavailable while Roobet’s own house games work, this is the usual explanation.

VPNs and Roobet’s terms

Using a VPN or proxy to access Roobet from a restricted jurisdiction is a breach of its terms. The consequences are not theoretical:

  • Roobet operates tiered identity verification. Level 2 asks for a passport, driving licence or government ID, and can be triggered at any time, commonly before a withdrawal.
  • An account found to belong to a resident of a restricted region can be closed and its balance forfeited.
  • Deposits are subject to wagering requirements and withdrawals to review, so funds can be at risk for extended periods.

This site does not provide VPN guidance for accessing Roobet and does not promote Roobet to residents of restricted regions. If you live in one, the information on this site is not an invitation to register.

What to check before registering

  1. Your country or territory is not on the list above, and ideally not on the live list in Roobet’s Terms of Service.
  2. Online gambling is legal for you locally, including any state or provincial rules.
  3. You are at least 18, or older if your jurisdiction sets a higher gambling age.
  4. You can pass verification with a document showing your real residential address.
  5. You understand the wagering requirement: 100% of each deposit must be wagered before withdrawal.

If all five hold, our step-by-step guide explains how to register and use the code BONUS26. If any fails, Roobet is not available to you.

Restricted countries FAQ

Is Roobet legal in the United States?

Roobet lists the United States as a restricted jurisdiction. US residents may not access the site or register an account. This applies to every state.

Is Roobet available in the UK?

No. The United Kingdom is on Roobet’s restricted list. Roobet does not hold a UK Gambling Commission licence.

Can I use Roobet in Canada?

Canada as a whole is not on Roobet’s restricted regions list as of 25 August 2026. Several third-party sources report that Ontario is treated as restricted because of its provincial iGaming regime. Check Roobet’s terms for your province and confirm any local law before registering.

Is Roobet legal in Australia?

No. Australia is on Roobet’s restricted list, and Australian law prohibits offshore operators from offering online casino games to residents.

What happens if I use a VPN to access Roobet?

You breach Roobet’s terms. Accounts can be closed and balances forfeited, and identity verification at withdrawal typically reveals the player’s real location. We do not recommend or explain VPN use for this purpose.

Why are some games unavailable in my country even though Roobet is?

Game studios apply their own licensing restrictions. Roobet’s help centre has an article on regional restrictions by game provider explaining that certain providers’ titles are blocked in additional countries.
